Project Description
Lake Maria Roof Replacement Project: Building 5 Complete
Palos Park, IL – GAF Timberline HDZ, Shakewood
We’re continuing our journey through the large-scale roof replacement project at Lake Maria Condominium Association in Palos Park, and we’re excited to share that Building 5 is now officially complete!
This is part of a 16-building initiative to refresh and protect the community’s residences with long-lasting, high-performance roofing systems. Each completed building adds to the overall transformation—and Building 5 is no exception.
Building 5 – Classic Shakewood, Timeless Appeal
For Building 5, we installed GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Shakewood, a warm, wood-toned color that adds depth, texture, and natural charm to the property. The Shakewood finish pairs beautifully with the architectural style and wooded landscape surrounding the Lake Maria community.
Our team carried out a full tear-off and replacement, taking time to inspect and prepare the roof decking before installing the full GAF roofing system. The result is not only visually appealing, but also built to perform in all seasons.
Why GAF Timberline HDZ?
GAF Timberline HDZ shingles were chosen for the entire project due to their reputation for durability, performance, and beauty. Here’s what makes them stand out:
LayerLock™ Technology for enhanced installation strength
WindProven™ Limited Wind Warranty (when installed with GAF accessories)
StainGuard Plus™ to protect against algae growth
Rich, dimensional design for added curb appeal
Shakewood continues to be a top choice for homeowners who want a classic look that blends seamlessly with natural surroundings.
Progress You Can See
With Building 5 complete, we're steadily moving through this 16-building transformation. Each project includes detailed attention to prep, clean-up, and flawless execution—making sure that every resident receives a roof they can depend on for decades to come.
