New Roof Installation – House & Gazebo in Zion, IL
We’re excited to share a recently completed roofing project where we upgraded both the house and gazebo with brand-new GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in Pewter Gray—a classic, clean look that offers lasting performance.
Our crew began by carefully protecting the landscaping, then removed the old roofing down to the decking on both structures. We inspected for any damaged wood and replaced it where necessary. Key upgrades included chimney reflashing, new lead pipe jack flashings, and the installation of GAF Snow Country COBRA Ridge Vents and Seal-A-Ridge hip/ridge shingles to improve ventilation.
We also installed 72" of ice and water shield, GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment, and drip edge flashing, ensuring the new roof is well-sealed and protected against the elements. All vents were updated, and any improperly vented fans were corrected and connected.
The job was finished off with a thorough cleanup—including magnetic sweeping—and is backed by a Limited Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty and a 10-Year Transferable Labor Warranty.
